Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements with high accuracy.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card audits to ensure data integrity.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax filings and coordinate with external auditors during year-end reviews.
- Ensure strict compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and internal policies.
- Utilize accounting software to maintain accurate digital records and generate financial reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA certification is highly preferred.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero) and MS Excel.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and tax compliance standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
