Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and balance sheets.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure all financial discrepancies are resolved promptly.
- Assist in the preparation of tax documents and ensure full compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and provide recommendations for process improvements.
- Collaborate with the finance team to budget and forecast financial performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance is preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent professional certification is a plus.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
