Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily general ledger accounting activities.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures with strict adherence to GAAP.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
