Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Perform internal audits and assist external auditors when necessary.
- Process payroll and maintain personnel files.
Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
