Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage full-cycle accounting including AP/AR, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing procedures with journal entries
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, IRS regulations, and industry standards
- Lead audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting efficiency
- Maintain accurate fixed asset records and depreciation schedules
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, or similar ERP systems
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUP
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder interactions
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance a plus
