Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with GAAP compliance
- Lead month-end/year-end closing processes and reconciliations
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and cash flow reporting
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting
- Ensure regulatory compliance for federal/state tax filings
- Mentor junior accounting staff through virtual training sessions
- Utilize QuickBooks and advanced Excel functions for data analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Expertise in QuickBooks, Sage, and ERP systems
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and IRS regulations
