Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and month-end closings
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and regulatory adherence
- Conduct detailed reconciliations for bank accounts, investments, and balance sheet accounts
- Develop and implement financial controls to mitigate risks and optimize processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and tax planning initiatives
- Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks Online and advanced Excel models
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with remote work exposure
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Excel, and accounting software
- Deep understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication abilities for client-facing interactions and reporting
- Proven ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
