Responsibilities
- Manage month-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and optimize cash flow management
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for executive stakeholders
- Lead internal audits and ensure SOX compliance across all financial operations
- Develop financial models and forecasts to support strategic decision-making
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and variance analysis
- Maintain accurate financial records in ERP systems (Sage 100 preferred)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite)
- Strong understanding of GAAP, SOX compliance, and tax regulations
- Proven ability to manage complex financial reporting cycles
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Remote work experience with self-discipline and time management
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
