Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL, AP/AR, and month-end close
- Prepare accurate financial statements and regulatory compliance reports
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and support strategic decision-making
- Lead internal controls implementation and process improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure SOX compliance
- Maintain client relationships and serve as financial advisor
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel with macros
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, SOX, and financial reporting standards
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and audits
- Certified Management Accountant (CMA) preferred
