Responsibilities
- Manage the month-end and year-end close processes with precision and adherence to GAAP standards.
- Prepare, review, and analyze complex financial statements and variance reports.
- Supervise accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Conduct thorough bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and coordinate with external auditors.
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support executive decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a public accounting or corporate environment.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is a strong plus.
- Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of federal and state tax regulations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- High level of integrity and ability to handle sensitive financial information with discretion.
