Responsibilities
- Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes with precision and efficiency.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, to support decision-making.
- Ensure strict adherence to local, state, and federal accounting regulations and internal controls.
- Perform bank reconciliations and manage accounts payable and receivable workflows.
- Assist in external audits and coordinate with tax professionals during tax season.
- Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
- Collaborate with department heads to improve financial processes and reporting accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is highly preferred.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting, financial reporting, or auditing.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
