Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing with 99.9% accuracy
- Prepare and analyze financial statements adhering to GAAP and SEC regulations
- Lead internal audits and ensure compliance with federal/state tax requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial workflows
- Maintain and enhance accounting systems (QuickBooks/Oracle) for maximum efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA or MBA preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
- Proven track record of managing complex financial audits and reconciliations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder reporting and presentations
