About the Role:
In this role, you will be the backbone of our financial operations, ensuring timely payments to vendors while maintaining strict accuracy and compliance standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline our financial workflows.
Responsibilities
- Invoice Processing: Accurately receive, verify, and process a high volume of invoices in a timely manner using our ERP system (SAP/NetSuite).
- Vendor Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors, resolving discrepancies and answering inquiries regarding billing and payments.
- Reconciliation: Perform daily and monthly reconciliation of accounts payable sub-ledgers to ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Reporting: Assist in month-end close procedures by preparing necessary schedules and reports for the finance manager.
- Policy Adherence: Ensure all AP transactions comply with company policies, internal controls, and GAAP standards.
- System Maintenance: Maintain and update vendor master data and tax information in our financial databases.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable or a related financial role.
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with accounting software (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot errors and maintain data integrity in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Self-Starter: Ability to work independently in a remote setting without direct supervision.
