Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough analysis of financial statements, tax returns, and credit reports to evaluate borrower risk.
- Prepare detailed credit memos and recommendations for presentation to the credit committee.
- Monitor the financial health of existing loan portfolios and identify early warning signs of default.
- Collaborate closely with loan officers and processors to underwrite new loan requests efficiently.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the credit management database.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory compliance requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and financial modeling.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while adhering to strict deadlines.
- Willingness to participate in and complete the paid training curriculum.
