Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations for portfolio clients including GL maintenance, month-end closes, and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) with variance commentary
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and optimize working capital cycles
- Lead internal and external audit coordination, ensuring compliance with GAAP and SOX requirements
- Develop financial models and forecasting tools to support strategic decision-making
- Implement process improvements using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and automation tools
- Mentor junior accounting staff and provide cross-departmental financial guidance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with CPA license (required)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in Excel with VBA/macros and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Strong technical accounting knowledge in revenue recognition (ASC 606) and lease accounting (ASC 842)
- Experience with multi-entity consolidation and intercompany transaction management
- Proven ability to manage complex month-end closes with strict deadlines
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills for presenting financial insights to non-financial stakeholders
