Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy, coding, and approvals.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any billing discrepancies.
- Prepare weekly and monthly payment runs using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
- Communicate effectively with vendors regarding payment status and inquiries.
- Assist the finance team with month-end closing procedures and reporting.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- No prior experience required; we provide on-the-job training.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot errors in data entry.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and terminology.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
