Responsibilities
- Process and verify incoming invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or billing errors promptly.
- Enter accurate financial data into accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Excel spreadsheets.
- Prepare monthly reports for management review and audit preparation.
- Communicate with vendors regarding payment schedules, status updates, and inquiries.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial records.
- Assist the Finance team with month-end closing procedures and ad-hoc accounting tasks.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus but not mandatory.
- Basic computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot errors quickly.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Previous experience in an office setting is a plus, but we welcome recent graduates and career changers.
