The Role
We are seeking a candidate who is not only proficient in accounting software but also thrives in a fast-paced environment. As our Bookkeeper, you will be the backbone of our financial operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-day accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card statements.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and financial reports.
- Assist with payroll processing and year-end tax preparation support.
- Reconcile inventory and vendor accounts.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial policies.
- Process and file financial documents accurately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or a similar role.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Sage is required.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and GAAP.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to spot discrepancies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
