Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage general ledger operations and month-end close processes
- Coordinate external audits and ensure compliance with GAAP
- Develop and implement internal controls for financial systems
- Lead budget forecasting and expense analysis initiatives
- Mentor junior accounting staff on best practices
- Automate financial reporting using ERP systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated experience with financial reporting tools
