Responsibilities
- Process high-volume accounts payable transactions within 3-day SLA
- Conduct vendor reconciliations and resolve discrepancies proactively
- Manage 1099 reporting and compliance for 500+ vendors
- Implement process improvements using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Lead month-end closing activities for AP sub-ledger
- Train and mentor 2 junior AP specialists
- Collaborate with auditors during quarterly reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 5+ years of high-volume AP experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- SAP/Oracle AP module certification preferred
- Experience with 1099 compliance and state tax laws
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- CPA or CMA designation a plus
