Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements with actionable insights for leadership
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and optimize cash flow management
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and industry-specific regulatory requirements
- Lead financial audits and implement process improvements for operational efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives
- Maintain accurate financial records using Oracle ERP system and advanced Excel modeling
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with public/private sector exposure
- Expertise in full-cycle accounting, month-end close, and financial reporting
- Advanced proficiency in Oracle ERP, SAP, and Microsoft Excel with VBA skills
- Strong audit experience with SOX compliance and internal controls implementation
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and meet tight deadlines
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
