Responsibilities
- Execute full-cycle accounting operations including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processes with weekly payment cycles
- Lead month-end and year-end closing procedures across 15+ client portfolios
- Implement internal controls to ensure compliance with SOX and regulatory standards
- Prepare detailed variance analyses and budget vs. actual reports
- Mentor junior accountants using our proprietary financial software suite
- Collaborate with external auditors during quarterly reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate setting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Excel, and ERP systems
- Demonstrated expertise in multi-state tax compliance and payroll processing
- Strong analytical skills with experience in forensic accounting
- Excellent written/verbal communication for stakeholder reporting
- Proven ability to manage competing deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Knowledge of healthcare and manufacturing industry accounting standards
