Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and general ledger maintenance
- Conduct reconciliations for bank accounts, investments, and balance sheet accounts
- Assist in budget preparation, variance analysis, and forecasting processes
- Collaborate with auditors during annual financial reviews
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting efficiency
- Maintain internal controls documentation and compliance with SOX requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven experience with month-end close procedures
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
