Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage complex month-end and year-end closing processes
- Oversee accounts payable, receivable, and payroll functions
- Ensure compliance with UK GAAP and HMRC regulations
- Develop and implement financial controls and processes
- Conduct internal audits and risk assessments
- Collaborate with cross-department teams on budgeting and forecasting
- Manage relationships with external auditors and tax authorities
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant with 5+ years' experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Deep knowledge of UK tax legislation and financial reporting standards
- Proven experience in managing multi-currency transactions
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills with stakeholder management experience
- Experience in the financial services or professional services sector
