Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP and IFRS standards.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and reconciliation processes to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
- Maintain and update fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification is a strong plus).
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or tech environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
