Responsibilities
- Oversee the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and timely reconciliation of accounts.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict compliance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax returns and ensure full regulatory compliance.
- Conduct internal audits and implement robust internal controls to mitigate financial risk.
- Collaborate with the finance team to analyze financial data and provide actionable business insights.
- Mentor junior staff members and assist with their professional development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is highly desirable.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and advanced accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, NetSuite).
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
