Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting for 50+ clients including AP/AR, GL reconciliation, and month-end closes
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) with 99.9% accuracy
- Lead tax compliance initiatives including federal/state filings and sales/use tax audits
- Implement and optimize accounting workflows using QuickBooks Online and NetSuite
- Conduct forensic accounting reviews and provide strategic financial insights to C-suite clients
- Mentor junior accountants and develop process improvements for team efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on M&A due diligence and valuation projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA strongly preferred)
- 5+ years public/private accounting experience with remote work proficiency
- Expertise in GAAP, ASC standards, and multi-state tax compliance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, and Excel macros
- Proven track record in forensic accounting and financial analysis
- Exceptional communication skills for client-facing presentations
- Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) or equivalent credentials a plus
- Ability to independently manage 20+ concurrent projects with strict deadlines
