- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with detailed variance reporting
- Manage full-cycle accounting for 15-20 diverse client portfolios
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with accuracy
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial strategy
- Conduct forensic accounting investigations for high-risk accounts
- Mentor junior accountants on best practices and software tools
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Excel (VBA)
- Strong GAAP knowledge and audit preparation experience
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines in remote settings
- Certification in forensic accounting or internal controls a plus
- Exceptional communication skills for virtual client interactions
