Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions with high accuracy.
- Process payroll and assist with quarterly tax filings for the weekend cohort.
- Prepare and review monthly financial reports and balance sheets.
- Maintain accurate digital filing systems and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders regarding financial discrepancies.
- Utilize accounting software to track expenses and revenue.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel (Advanced functions).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and generally accepted accounting principles.
- Ability to work independently with a high level of attention to detail.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated workspace.
- Must be available to work Saturday and Sunday (40 hours per week).
- Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
