Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, preparing financial statements and reconciling accounts.
- Ensure strict compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Assist external auditors during annual audits and prepare supporting schedules and documentation.
- Prepare and analyze variance reports to support management decision-making.
- Maintain the general ledger and resolve complex accounting discrepancies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex financial information clearly.
