Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze weekly financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations.
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable processing and auditing.
- Ensure all financial data is accurate and compliant with GAAP standards.
- Prepare and file quarterly and annual tax documents accurately.
- Collaborate with the finance team to identify process improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a weekend shift capacity.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, auditing, and tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
