Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all journal entries are accurate and up-to-date.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card statements.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax preparation filings.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and local financial regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
