Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheets.
- Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes in compliance with GAAP.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure all financial transactions are recorded correctly.
- Process payroll and manage tax filings in accordance with local regulations.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial processes and reporting efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- 3+ years of proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and other MS Office applications.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Associate in Accounting (AA) designation preferred.
