Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage general ledger operations, ensuring accurate recording and reconciliation of all financial transactions
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles, implementing process improvements for efficiency
- Conduct internal audits and ensure strict compliance with GAAP and SOX regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, delivering timely and accurate reporting
- Develop and maintain financial models for decision support and variance analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA strongly preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with public company exposure
- Expert proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel functions
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls
- Proven ability to manage complex reconciliations and financial reporting cycles
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication skills for presenting financial insights to leadership
- Experience with multi-currency transactions and international accounting standards
