Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure all tax filings are accurate and timely.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure financial data integrity and compliance with company policies.
- Collaborate with the budgeting team to forecast financial performance and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or NetSuite) to manage financial records efficiently.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA certification preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in general accounting or a related role.
- Proven experience working remotely or in a hybrid work environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and accounting software.
- Strong knowledge of US tax laws and financial regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
