Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and ledgers.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly.
- Support the month-end and year-end close process by preparing necessary journal entries and schedules.
- Prepare and distribute basic financial reports and variance analyses to management.
- Assist in the audit preparation process and respond to internal/external inquiries.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles (GAAP).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
