Key Duties
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and posting of daily journal entries and reconciliations.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to general ledgers.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes, including variance analysis.
- Maintain and organize financial records, ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
- Assist with financial reporting, budget preparation, and tax documentation as needed.
- Communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or currently pursuing CPA certification).
- 0-2 years of relevant experience, internship, or academic coursework.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Xero) is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
