Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial operations, including accurate processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including Balance Sheets and Profit & Loss reports.
- Ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of bank accounts and credit card statements.
- Assist with the preparation of federal and state tax filings and regulatory compliance audits.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Maintain organized, up-to-date, and secure financial records in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred).
- 2+ years of professional accounting experience in a remote or corporate setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax laws, and federal compliance requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated individual capable of working independently in a remote environment.
