Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and general ledger entries with precision.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and variance reports for leadership.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and ensure adherence to company financial policies.
- Maintain accurate financial records and assist with annual budget preparation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of U.S. tax laws and financial regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
