Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end payroll processing for 300+ employees on a bi-weekly cycle using ADP Workforce Now.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws, including FLSA and Washington State regulations.
- Prepare and file accurate quarterly and annual federal and state payroll tax reports and reconcile tax accounts.
- Respond to complex payroll questions from employees and resolve discrepancies with precision and speed.
- Collaborate with the HR department to maintain up-to-date employee records, including new hire tax forms (I-9, W-4) and benefit deductions.
- Analyze payroll data to identify trends and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive payroll processing experience, preferably in a mid-to-large sized organization.
- Advanced proficiency with ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll platforms (Workday, Paylocity).
- Strong working knowledge of payroll tax laws, FLSA, and mandatory reporting requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Human Resources is highly preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality.
