Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with 100% accuracy
- Process complex payroll systems including multi-state tax compliance
- Generate monthly financial statements and variance analyses
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and cash flow optimization
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Implement and maintain internal accounting controls
- Prepare sales tax filings and regulatory compliance documents
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or equivalent (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Expert knowledge of GAAP principles and Texas tax regulations
- Proven track record of managing multi-company accounting
- Professional certification (CPA/CPB) strongly preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
