Responsibilities
- Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for all employees using [Payroll Software] with 100% accuracy.
- Review and audit timekeeping records, timesheets, and payroll adjustments to ensure data integrity.
- Calculate payroll taxes, deductions, garnishments, and net pay in strict accordance with federal and state regulations.
- Maintain accurate payroll records, tax filings, and reporting documentation.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay stubs, direct deposits, and tax forms.
- Collaborate with HR and Accounting teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance with Colorado labor laws.
- Assist with year-end processing and year-to-date reporting.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of payroll processing experience.
- In-depth knowledge of federal and state payroll laws, with specific experience in Colorado regulations.
- Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, or Ceridian) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to detect errors and resolve complex payroll issues.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
