Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll for 200+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and year-end reporting (W-2/1099)
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries within SLA
- Collaborate with HR on new hire onboarding and terminations
- Conduct quarterly payroll audits and reconciliation processes
- Implement system upgrades and process improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of US payroll processing experience with multi-state knowledge
- ADP Workforce Now certification or equivalent payroll software proficiency
- FPC or CPP certification preferred (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)
- Expertise in FLSA, FICA, and state-specific labor laws
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proven track record in payroll audit and compliance
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
