Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for salaried and hourly employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Calculate and garnish wages, deductions, and tax withholdings per federal/state regulations
- Manage new hire onboarding and terminations for payroll compliance
- Resolve payroll discrepancies through audit trails and employee inquiries
- Prepare quarterly/yearly payroll tax filings and W-2 distribution
- Collaborate with HR on benefits administration and time-off tracking
- Maintain confidential payroll records in compliance with SOX requirements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience with multi-state compliance
- ADP Workforce Now certification or equivalent payroll software expertise
- Deep knowledge of FLSA, FICA, and state-specific payroll regulations
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and macros
- Proven ability to manage confidential data with discretion
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) designation a plus
