Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 300+ employees across 15 states using ADP Workforce Now
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and tax compliance for federal and local jurisdictions
- Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare quarterly/annual tax filings
- Support HR initiatives including new hire onboarding and time-off administration
- Generate payroll reports for CFO and audit teams
- Resolve payroll discrepancies through thorough investigation
Qualifications
- 3+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- ADP Workforce Now certification strongly preferred
- Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and QuickBooks
- Familiarity with DC, MD, VA tax regulations and garnishment laws
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proven track record of zero payroll processing errors
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality with sensitive employee data
