Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly multi-state payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Calculate and garnish wage deductions, bonuses, commissions, and expense reimbursements
- Ensure compliance with federal/state tax laws (e.g., FICA, FUTA, SUTA) and wage-hour regulations
- Reconcile payroll general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Manage year-end processing including W-2 distribution and 1099 reporting
- Support HR with new hire onboarding and payroll-related documentation
- Implement process improvements to enhance payroll accuracy and efficiency
Qualifications
- 3+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- ADP Workforce Now certification or equivalent expertise
- Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and payroll software
- Deep understanding of FLSA, garnishment laws, and tax compliance
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to handle sensitive data with confidentiality and integrity
