Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, cash flow projections, and credit applications to assess borrower risk
- Prepare detailed credit reports with recommendations for loan approvals/modifications
- Monitor existing credit portfolios and identify early warning signs of potential defaults
- Collaborate with sales teams to structure complex financing solutions
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Maintain accurate documentation in loan origination systems
- Present credit analysis findings to credit committee members
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling software
- Strong understanding of GAAP, credit policies, and lending regulations
- Exceptional analytical and risk assessment capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Professional certification (CFA, CMA, or CRCM) preferred
- Experience with credit scoring models and portfolio management
