Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for 500+ employees across multiple states
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and labor laws
- Oversee time and attendance systems, reconciling discrepancies with precision
- Prepare and deliver payroll reports for executive leadership and HR stakeholders
- Administer garnishments, deductions, and benefit deductions accurately
- Collaborate with HR on new hire onboarding and payroll-related terminations
- Implement process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency and accuracy
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of payroll processing experience with multi-state operations
- Advanced proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or similar HRIS systems
- Expertise in federal/state tax compliance and wage/hour regulations
- Proven ability to manage complex payroll scenarios (e.g., bonuses, commissions)
- Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
- CPP or FPC certification preferred
