Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly multi-state payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations (FLSA, FICA, etc.)
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and benefits enrollment changes
- Prepare and file payroll tax returns (941s, state unemployment)
- Conduct payroll audits and resolve discrepancies
- Collaborate with HR on new hire onboarding and terminations
- Implement process improvements using payroll analytics
Qualifications
- 5+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- Expertise in ADP Workforce Now or similar HRIS systems
- Professional Payroll Certification (CPP or FPC) preferred
- Strong knowledge of Washington state labor laws
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot tables
- Experience with garnishment processing and tax compliance
- Proven problem-solving skills with attention to detail
