We're seeking a meticulous Payroll Specialist to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll for 200+ employees across diverse industries. Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll bi-weekly using ADP Workforce Now
- Verify and reconcile timecards, commissions, and deductions
- Prepare and file federal/state tax forms and year-end reports
- Manage garnishments, benefits deductions, and 401(k) contributions
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries within SLA timeframes
- Conduct payroll audits and maintain compliance with FLSA and IRS regulations
- Collaborate with HR on new hire onboarding and terminations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- Proficiency with ADP, QuickBooks, or similar payroll systems
- Deep understanding of federal/state payroll tax regulations
- Associate's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and confidentiality standards
- Experience with garnishment processing and year-end reconciliations
